There are 11 players on the field for field hockey. the golie protect the goal , so the oher team can't make a goal. the three half backs move into the action by making goal and he;ping other player with their position .the center can go up and down the field all the way in center.the two wings ,the right and left,carry the ball up and down to pass the ball to teammate or to score a goal.
History shows that it is not possible to know exactly when and where the game began.Games where teams attempt to place a ball their opponent's goal using sticks have been found throughout history. in the ancient time around 4000 year ago found in EGYPT ,where men are playing these game. few are played in persian an d in roman.
in middle ages, hockey like wre played throughout europe.
